About Harding County Court Records

Court and public records in Harding County, New Mexico are divided among the District Court in Mosquero, the Magistrate Court in Roy, the County Clerk, the County Probate Court, the Sheriff's Office, and statewide New Mexico systems. This private reference site organizes those access points so visitors can tell which office or portal is tied to each record type.

Why We Built This Site

New Mexico gives the public broad access to many court and county records, but Harding County records are not held in one office. Harding District Court handles felony, divorce, civil, protection-order, and other general-jurisdiction trial court records. Harding County Magistrate Court handles many traffic, DWI/DUI, misdemeanor, landlord-tenant, and small civil matters. The Harding County Clerk handles recording, marriage licenses, county public records, and clerk support for probate matters. Sheriff and custody questions use a different path.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any New Mexico court, Harding County office, sheriff's office, clerk's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

  • We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any court document, marriage record, probate record, or county recording
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, office hour, or address listed on this site is current right now

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point to the office, but the document has to come from that office.
